The Fairtrade Haringey group is a voluntary organisation that promotes Fairtrade in the London borough of Haringey. We meet approximately four times a year, and discuss how we can encourage more people in Haringey to buy Fairtrade products. This includes organising events, attending fairs and encouraging workplaces, schools and faith organisations to get involved.

This hard work has been recognised by the Fairtrade Foundation, the organisation that controls the certification of Fairtrade products, by awarding us with Fairtrade Borough status. This means we have successfully met the five goals which aim to increase the presence of the Fairtrade mark and Fairtrade products throughout the local community. It's a fantastic success for all the residents, businesses, and organisations involved.
