Fairtrade Sale in Hornsey Library, Sat 3rd March 2012

One of our members works with village women in Northern Ghana, and now imports a beautiful range of artisan crafts. We had a wonderful display of these, many were attracted by the dressable dolls that came with their own little bag.  Find out more: the Flame Tree.

There was also a traidcraft stall selling both Fairtrade food and a selection of crafts including jewellery, geetings cards and other small craft items. Both the stalls together sold £270 of goods and lots of us enjoyed the cheapest cup of coffee in Crouch End, fairtrade of course, served upstairs in the library at 'the Unlibrary Cafe'
